Yellow team names are a bit more creative. It’s a stand out color that brings a lot of joy and sunshine, but it’s usually not the most popular color (that title goes to blue and green) for sports.
If your kid’s upset about getting the yellow jersey, they shouldn’t be! We’ve got a lot of terrific choices for your kids to choose from.
The great thing about yellow team names? They can be funny, neutral or natural.
Crush (ok, this should really be orange)
Predators (we hate this name, don’t use it)
Slime / Slimers (yes! This is a real name, I know a “Team Slime” soccer team)
Sour Patch Kids
Yellow team names can be tough or kind, but there’s an option for everyone. The most important thing, as with all other sports, is to get out there and have FUN.
Naming aside, now is the time to start looking for programs for winter and spring.
Feeling like doing good for the world? Review one of the programs so that parents understand what they’re getting into. We’ve realized that people like to know the 3C’s – cost, culture, and competitiveness. Added bonus if you include information about your experience such as if the program ran on time, if additional gear was necessary, and how the coaches interacted with players.
