Camp Kehilla provides a safe, engaging environment for children, teens, and young adults with special needs to build social skills, lasting friendships, independence and self-esteem.

Located at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in western Suffolk County, Camp Kehilla offers a variety of experiences and activities including:
Arts and crafts
hands-on science and nature
Music and Movement
Red Cross Instructional Swim
Exciting day and overnight trips
Our camp grounds feature four-oversized pools, ball fields, hiking trails, basketball courts, playgrounds, miniature golf course, sand volleyball court and a state of the art indoor air conditioned sports complex.
Our staff have extensive training working with the Special Needs population and we maintain a 3:1 ratio.
Vocation Camp- Ages: 15-21
The Kehilla Vocation Experience gives campers with special needs the opportunity to begin planning for the future while still enjoying an awesome summer. Vocation participants work four days per week at various job sites such as TJ MAXX, Walgreens, Old Navy, and the Nassau County Museum of Art. One day per week is reserved for a day trip.
